Shaping the Future of Living through People and Technology

Kawada Robotics has been a pioneer in bringing humanoid robots—designed to work alongside people—into practical use and real-world industries.

We are passionate about creating a new social environment where both humans and robots can unlock their full potential, enabling people to work and live with greater fulfillment. For us, robots are not just machines—they are partners.

When humans and robots co-create, the possibilities are limitless. If you have a passion for robotics, that’s all you need. Join us, and let’s take on the challenge of building the future of living together.

Culture & Value

If You Love Robots, You Can Take Center Stage

Every role at our company is directly connected to robotics.
For engineers, there are countless opportunities to grow as experts in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
From development and design to field engineering, you will work hands-on with our robots across a wide range of projects.
Even team members in administrative or business roles collaborate closely with engineers and often operate robots themselves—whether in product planning, exhibitions, or customer demonstrations. Regardless of age, gender, or background, anyone with passion and curiosity for building a world where humans and robots coexist can play a leading role here.

A Culture That Welcomes Failure—and Encourages Bold Challenges

Around 30% of our employees are in their twenties, and our team is made up of people with diverse backgrounds.
Our members range from veteran engineers who once built bipedal robots with only a handful of colleagues, to alumni of world-renowned companies, to colleagues from overseas.
This diversity fuels a culture where ideas are freely exchanged and discussed openly—creating an environment where unconventional thinking thrives.
Creating a society where humans and robots work side by side is a bold mission. It comes with challenges, but nothing new is born if we fear failure.
We welcome teammates who push forward, embrace failures as learning opportunities, and continue taking on challenges with us.

Noguchi – Engineering Department Joined in 2020 as a mid-career professional

1st Year – Focused mainly on testing tasks while working on software development for NEXTAGE Mobile.
2nd Year – Took on project management responsibilities for NEXTAGE API software development, with a focus on coordination and project control.
3rd Year – Led overall development of a remote operation system utilizing the NEXTAGE platform.
4th Year – Focused on teaching-function development and worked on various solution projects using NEXTAGE.

Today, I am working on developing teaching functions that enable smooth deployment of NEXTAGE in manufacturing environments. My goal is to create a system where anyone can easily teach and operate the robot.
I am also involved in R&D on remote operation technologies and the use of AI. Together with my wife, I am taking on a new challenge—running a restaurant built around the concept of “a shop with a robot,” where NEXTAGE plays an active role. Dreaming of a future where every home has a useful robot, I will continue pursuing practical, real-world robotics and take on new challenges every day.

Kakimoto, Sales Department Joined in 2019 as a new graduate

1st Year – Participated in various training programs related to robot manufacturing and design.
2nd–3rd Years – Worked on electrical system development for new robot models and supported mass-production launch activities.
4th Year – Engaged in R&D on core technologies for robotics.
5th Year – Worked on improvement and redesign of circuit boards used in mass-production models.
6th Year – Supported the deployment of NEXTAGE robots at customer sites as a field engineer.

Up through my sixth year, I was involved in a wide range of technical roles—from electrical-system development and design to factory deployment support for NEXTAGE. I am currently leveraging that experience in a new role: proposing NEXTAGE and overseas AMRs to customers as part of our sales team. While working in sales, I aim to deepen my understanding of what customers truly need from humanoid robots. My goal is to become an engineer who can both propose and help develop the humanoid robots our customers envision.

Tamakawa, Engineering Department Joined in 2017 as a new graduate

Years 1–3 – Worked on wiring design and performance testing for NXA.
Years 4–6 – Started with development and design of Fillie, and continued through mass-production launch and manufacturing support.
Year 7 onward – Serving as a mechanical designer, mainly responsible for designing peripheral equipment and integrating NEXTAGE systems.

Currently, I am mainly focused on mechanical design. Since every project requires different peripheral equipment, I am constantly searching for ideas and inspirations to improve my designs. I enjoy taking on new challenges with every project and aspire to become someone who can “do anything—and enjoy anything” in the world of robotics.
